Markes International will be attending PittCon, Chicago in March 2009. In addition to exhibiting a new and exciting range of products and product enhancements, the company will be giving eight (8) papers (oral and poster):

- Introducing a new advanced data reprocessing software for mass spectrometry from ALMSCO International (a division of Markes International)
- Recent advances in the analysis of semi-volatile organic compounds using thermal desorption-GC-MS
- Analytical tools for product development, quality control and trouble shooting in the tobacco industry
- Recent enhancements to monitoring volatiles in air by thermal desorption
